Background

IRCBE (International Research Conference on Business and Economics) is an annual international academic conference organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Diponegoro. For its 4th iteration, IRCBE 2026 highlights the main theme “Business and Economic Strategies for a Sustainable Future: Balancing Growth and Environmental Responsibility” as a response to the global urgency of balancing economic growth with environmental responsibility.

The conference is held in a hybrid format—combining face-to-face (on-site) sessions at the KWU Building FEB Undip and virtual (online) sessions via an online meeting platform—to reach the participation of academics, researchers, and practitioners from all over the world. IRCBE 2026 also contributes to the World Class University (WCU) indicators through the enhancement of reputable international publications and support for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Objectives

• To facilitate the dissemination of academic research findings in the fields of business, accounting, and economics to the international scientific community.
• To foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among academics, researchers, and practitioners from both domestic and international institutions.
• To provide strategic insights regarding business and economic sustainability within the context of global environmental responsibility.
• To target +/- 220 articles for publication opportunities in Scopus-indexed journals, SINTA-indexed journals, and Scopus Proceedings.
• To strengthen the position of FEB Undip as an international institution through the organization of globally reputable academic conferences.
• To support the achievement of World Class University (WCU) indicators and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
